Dome Paroongsup
My name is Anurat Paroongsup – friends and family call me Dome, so please feel free to do the same.
I was born in Bangkok Thailand. We lived there until I was 10 years old until my mom moved my 3 siblings and I to the USA to live the American dream and to provide us with better opportunity.
At that point, I grew up in the northwest suburbs of Chicago in McHenry County where I attended High School and went to college until I joined and served 8 years in the US Navy. While serving in the Navy, I was elected to be the Physical Coordinator for my command.
After the military, I went to Northern Illinois University where I graduated with a degree in Cardiac Rehab and Athletic Trainer specializing in fitness leadership and sports medicine.
I was taught at a very young age, “study hard, be dedicated and committed to what you do, and you will be successful in life.”
I am hardworking and driven and I am never afraid to face a challenge. I am passionate about my work and know how to get the job done.
I describe myself as an open and honest person and to be fair in everything I do. I enjoy and love helping people. I believe you have to take the best care of yourself first so you can be in the right state of mind and physical ability, THEN you can have the energy to help others.
